Our government does not have our best interests at heart, I wear a mask for hours at a time at my job and Im a respiratory therapist! CO2 retention increases the acidity in your blood causing metabolic acidosis. This is normally caused by lung damage that prevents the lungs from blowing off CO2. If you must wear a mask for extended periods of time make sure and drink plenty of water! Avoid keto diets and drinking lots of alcohol and dont drink the hand sanitizer, ha ha!
